I started the day off by taking photos of Jill and the girls at the downtown Pittsburgh Marriot, followed by a quick drive up the hill to Duquesne Chapel for the ceremony. After the ceremony we took some photographs outside the campus chapel and then ventured down to Heinz Field/North Shore for some additional mid-day portraits. Our last stop was headed back to Duquesne Campus’s Power Center Ballroom. The ballroom captured some beautiful light through its giant glass wall windows that really gave a one of a kind ambiance to the room that evening and gave a me a great opportunity to photograph some beautiful shots of Jill and John as they celebrated their special day with excited friends and family.

The massive openness of the church and its stunning architecture certainly made for some fantastic shots.  After the ceremony we walked across the street to Carnegie Mellon University’s Law Center for some candid and creative mid day portraits and then took a drive over to Duquesne University’s Power Center Ballroom for an evening of dinner, lots of dancing and continued celebration amongst Jim & Lauren’s closest friends and family.
